I'm a firm believer in taking pride of where one is from. For me, my home is more than just a place on a map, but something that reminds me of the things I have been through that got me to where I am today. Connecticut is not just my place of birth, but my foundation of who I am. I grew up in a small town called Easton right along the coast of Fairfield County. 

 

Being an 'East-Coaster' has shaped and influenced how I think, act, and portray more of myself as I travel to different destinations and come in contact with diverse groups of people. I always remind myself that where I'm from is a platform to where I am going.
